From what I can recall of my only experience of Fetchpoint from the supporters side, you watch for runners going past at about 13 miles and scream like a loon if you spot a Fetchie. You then watch for incoming runners approaching Fetchpoint and get ready to hand to them whatever they have asked for (jelly babies, flat cola, sweaty hugs, high 5s etc). These should be in little baggies labelled with the names of the runners.

Hope you won't be out of action for too long Herman - you can still watch it on TV and scream like crazy every time you see a Fetchie
Captain S - Becca is quite correct in her description of Fetchpoint activities, I've Fetchpointed a few times, and actually run once - on balance I prefer Fetchpointing, especially as we usually get to eat quite a lot of 
I'll try to get there as early as I can in order to put stuff in bags, blow up balloons etc (forgot to mention the balloons - there are usually quite a few) - any other supporters who can get there early will be very welcome, however, as I have a longish journey to get there.
