I ran it with a stinking headcold in 2012, looking to finally crack 70 mins for 10 miles, which in theory should be a doddle give that I've cracked 90mins for a half, but I always seem to run out of luck in the run up to 10 milers! Gave the new course a test run a few weeks ago and can confirm a) they haven't flattened off New Zealand Road (!) and b) the Dark Lane section can be quite pot-holey and potentially slippery from cow-produce.
