Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Session 1 done. Wet and windy. Fun :-)

I'm going to blog rather than keep updating this thread. Thanks again for the suggestions and support!

Good stuff, WA :) Running might be laborious for a little while, but you're a good runner and it'll come back.

Don't fret too much about the possibility of arthritis. Lower limb arthritis is common in the population, lots of runners will have some signs of it, and managing it while continuing to run becomes instinctive.

Aargh, meant to blog but haven't got round to it yet

2 C25K sessions done. Both were fine. I find the starting and stopping a bit odd to get used to, as just as I feel I'm getting into my stride I'm walking again. Having said that I'm finishing the half hour feeling fresh rather than knackered. Day 3 tomorrow, likely to be in the dark. Need to find my head torch!

Got something to say?
