Stirling Moss is quite rightly racing away with Pool C. Policeman all over the country still use the phrase “who do we think we are sir, Stirling Moss?” when apprehending a speeding motorist?

Who the hell is voting for miserable bloody Brendan Foster? Didn’t you hear the way he used to dismiss anyone taking longer than 3 hours at the London Marathon as a fun runner?

And, good honest athletes as they were, neither Cram nor McGolgan can hold a candle to Gazza, although he’d probably hold a flame thrower to them, just for a laugh.
