Mary Peters v Andy Murray was tough. Recency bias prevailed. There’s a lovely story from Antwerp last week involving AM raiding the press room every day to steal their yoghurt. Very Andy Murray. He seems a lot - a lot - more fun than Federer, Djokovic and Nadal combined.

I like Muzza. His dry humour is often not appreciated, and he looks like the gangly uncoordinated kid from school but very definitely isn’t that kid.
I wonder why dear old Frank Bruno never won it. He had a few heroic failures (which usually does the trick - see Damon Hill), and when that didn’t work he actually did win the world title, complete with gratuitous blubbing which is normally a Spoty shoe in.

I'm properly crap at the 3 triathlon sports, but quite good at transition. Maybe if the Decathlon scored points for changing kit?

David Beckham deserves to be doing far better than he is, especially given mediocre company, as does Paula Radcliffe. Do you people know anything?

If we’re voting blokes that are shit at 10 sports, what about that bloke from Canvey Island whose body always used to fall to pieces over the 2 days, leaving him in a heartbreaking 4th yet he’d be inconceivably chirpy throughout.
