I've wiped out all the times from the 'Speedmarks' tab in the log, because they all suffered as a result of that bug. But I'm keen to build some league tables now for weekly challenges :-)

I've put together a simple table showing the fastest times for the day. It doesn't have a lot of data in it at the moment, because I only wiped the data out less than an hour ago. The top table shows runners, the second table shows bikers.

Is there a link to that table somewhere (apart from here)?

Not yet, but I'll find room for it tomorrow.

I've limited it to the top 20 for now, because otherwise it'd get pretty unwieldy by the end of the day. More updates tomorrow.

Interesting results from my session today - it was 4x1200m on a (pretty old, uncertified, maybe short/long) cinder track.

One thing this does highlight is that either (a) the track's circumference, or (b) my Garmin's measurement of it, is over 400m. But it does this inconsisntently: the Fetch 400m time of 69 secs is quicker than I was lapping, the Fetch 800m time is probably pretty close to the fastest at 2:23. The 1200m Fetch time is slower than I was covering 3 laps in - Fetch shows 4:01 but I was running more like 3:41 for the fastest consecutive 3 laps.

Now, Garmin makes 3 laps of this track to be 0.78 miles, which is 1255m. Even if that's really 0.775 miles rounded up, it's still longer than 1200 "Garmin metres" - so I'd expect that to translate to a "Fetch 1200m" time of about 3:30 rather than the 4:01 showing.

Make sense? I'm also eating soup btw, so it may not.

p.s. it felt like about 3 minute/kilometre, but Fetch has the fastest 1km as 3:14 - which is frankly dawdling in a session like this one.

Garmins on tracks are notoriously unreliable. I remember all sorts of kerfuffle with them at track marathons.
