Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A Rae in a manger
Actual snow has fallen while I wasn't looking, and stuck and everything.
Not a lot, looks to be a single cm or so, but it does make things prettier.

57.5 Days of Xmas
But a few feeble tiny flakes here.
That would describe the snow that fell just after I finished my run. Mostly blue sky all day with loads of frost.

Not a huge amount of snow, but it was snow on previously frozen snow and ice, so possibly a bit tricky underfoot. A local race organiser was offering t-shirts and goodies to people who posted pictures of mince pies at trig points, but I reluctantly decided it was probably best not to go up on the tops today.

Chesterfield at lunchtime. We were meant to be doing the Percy Pud 10K this morning but it was cancelled.

Run from Sheffield town centre to work (4.6 miles from centre going towards Peak District)
Started with no snow then slush and after a couple of miles a nice layer of snow that was lovely to run on. Sleet in the air

Is that Chesterfield canal Sombrero

I run a lot on the bit from Kiveton to Worksop

It is indeed riggys99 - we live half a mile up the road from Tapton Lock. I used to live in Kiveton for ten years, one of my regular routes was up the canal to Worksop and back - lovely place to run.
