Quite a bit of co-operative community endeavour visible around the town: aside from the main roads, if locals don't do it, no-one will. I suspect the memory of 2010 is spurring people on (when the scheme road at the side of me was frozen for seven weeks and ultimately needed a JCB with a giant chisel to dig it out).
