We had chicken breasts the other day with onions and mushrooms covered in a tin of condensed soup
Threw some peas and sweetcorn in whilst cooking rice
Worked well

Pam runs
We tried sausages, carrots and onion with, paprika and chili powder with a cheap tin of Asda veg soup. Thicken with cornflour then serve with cooked spaghetti mixed in.

Very tasty and budget friendly.

I cook pasta (not spaghetti though as find the shape difficult for eating) in the slow cooker near the end - that’s partly because I don’t have the right pan for pasta but also to save on time and washing up!

Fizz :-)
We have a slow cooker recipe for macaroni cheese, the pasta gets boiling water poured over it a bowl for ten minutes before going in the slow cooker.

Pondering doing a ginger beer gammon / ham over the Christmas period; it would need a quick blast in the oven at the end to get a crispy finish.

Never cooked a roast dinner before. Quite excited! Although must admit I have no idea what I’m doing and don’t even know what sort of joint I’ll need!

We only ever have roast potatoes with a joint of meat, so the oven is on anyway.

And our slow cooker is very old and low powered, we haven’t succeeded with jacket potatoes, so I don’t think we’d bother with roasties.

I’d be interested to hear how they come out though :-)
