Yay well done Nutson in the PB bunting and great running Alpen! Good luck Helegant! No run for me all week as I have the lurgy, horrible sore throat and cough. Hoping I might improve in time for a run bank holiday Monday, but am being sensible so if I'm not ready then I won't run.

We have spent some time today fitting new kitchen cupboard doors - same style as the old ones but they were so tatty and these seem much better quality. Looks fab!

Good luck tomorrow Hel, are you going for a PB? ;-) I'm really looking forward to meeting you at TBC8a/b.

Lem, sorry about the lurgy, really annoying to get your training scuppered - again! Nice to tidy up the kitchen. :)

I realised that 3 weeks ago was my actual PW parkrun so I'm pleased to be improving a bit each week. 2 races for me next week - the summer series starts again on Wednesday and I've got that hilly 10k trail race next Sunday. I think that it's virtually the same course as that 10 miler I did last month, but shorter. The hill is included though. :-o I haven't managed to run up any hills yet since I came back. ;-)

Unexpectedly faster than predicted today. Not a PB, but a higher WAVA to put on the score board.

:-( DQ & L10

Used my 12 mile run to get my 10 mile race result as I can't see me getting 10 miles this week as I will be full time. Popping out soon to round up April and collect my car from the local train station.

Hope everyone is getting in the miles they want

Top running Hel! Always good to improve the WAVA. medal :)

DQ, not another lurgy, are you catching them from the wee man? :-p

I got out and did my Joker long run for the next week this morning, not sure if I'll manage an interval session this week though.

bunting for the WAVA score Hel! Result! Well done LG on the run. Get well soon DQ. I am so peed off with my lurgy, as I wanted to do a last proper long run of about 18 miles today before easing off ready for Windermere. As it is I will do one next weekend but not as long as I would have done today. I may be well enough for a short bimble tomorrow but will wait and see what sort of night I have. #buggeroffsnot

Today we finished fitting our new cupboard doors and drawer fronts in the kitchen and it looks brilliant! Still shaker style cream and we've kept the wooden knobs, it's just the old doors were old and tatty looking.

I'm also applying for a new job, well, someone asked Mr Lemon about me as they think I would be a good candidate and seemed very keen (they asked him when I might be able to start work) so I have sent my CV to them to look at, see what they think, if it's worth applying. It's a job that is a bit different to what I do / have done but it would use my geography degree (from 1996 and never been used sadly). Gingers crossed because if this comes off it will be a spectacular mid-life career change! 🍀
