It’s 3 weeks if you want to claim for a lost item.

That’s useful to know. Thanks, Meglet.

(I think that’s right. When an eBay parcel hadn’t been delivered I couldn’t claim from Royal Mail for a few weeks. 1st always used to mean next day if it went first collection, but I’m not sure that’s guaranteed)

I have been doing some behind the scenes elfing this morning. Hopefully we now know where a missing gift is, even if the recipient hasn't actually got it yet. I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed for them!

Not only has it been sent, it's been delivered too!! Been very good and not even taken it out the outer wrapping, and trying hard not to have a prod about either

Sorry I couldn't update the spreadsheet - it won't work on my phone or tablet & I thought it had updated when I used my laptop - for it only not to have saved!!

this is one very happy elf, checking in to say a big thank you to all my Santa's for getting your gifts safely to their destinations. You know who you are and you have done a great job. Thank you and Happy Christmas.

One not-quite-as-happy-as-doc elf here as one present is missing somewhere between (we can only assume) the North Pole and it's correct destination. We think it may have got dropped down the wrong chimney. I know the Santa in question has been doing all they can to put things right though and I am sure the recipient will receive their gift in due course.
