We were in Selva, but friends had coincidentally booked the same week in Corvara so we spent time there. Sadly my physical activity is limited this year so no skiing for me
Angus Clydesdale 27 Feb 2:11pm, 27 Feb 2024 27,186 posts	0 Angus Clydesdale We didn’t get to ski this year either. Sella Ronda is good. We stayed in Val di Fassa one year (about 15 years ago now). Lots of variety, although IIRC doing the round in one day was a bit dull.

Only debate is where; I like doing 3 or do small back country resorts far from the crowds done with a road trip but she’s more interested in the slightly warmer side British Colombia with lots of groomed pistes, probably Whistler. I’ll negotiate aggressively then concede a week in Whistler followed by a couple of smaller resorts further into the Rockies. Been a while, can’t wait.

Last year was incredibly cold so hoping the later trip will be warmer (it will be). We go every year as a group and it’s so much fun, we eat and drink as much as we ski.

I've been back home for 4 weeks mending and 6 weeks later I'm back again. I've not tested it yet - that can wait until tomorrow as I don't like skiing in fog. Not exactly the best of skiing weather mostly so far this season, but nice to be out and about in the mountain air.
