Wales were very workman like. Played well enough but no X factor. Would have worn down a team playing the same way, perhaps.
Scotland had the measure of them. They could match Wales in going though phases and grinding, had the fitness not to get worn down and give opportunities for that huge amount of time just within they're own half.
Then, as Russell just said he did his shit and made everyone one else look good. He's laughing, right now it's easy for him, he makes everyone else look daft
Kinghorm needs to learn to pass though.

Kinghorn was a selfish twat at times today. While vdM was magnanimous and made good decisions. Russell (of whom, you’ll know, I’m not a big fan) was superb and definitely deserved man of the match.
Brilliant day out. So happy

England, like Wales yesterday very workman like, little to make you think wow.
12 minutes to score, then another 16 to score again, yes unanswered between the 2 but because Italy didn't take a 3 pointer.
Italy have had more possession (for 30 minutes, until the yellow) and it's more they Italy haven't capitalised then England's defence have been great.
Takes England 9 minutes into a yellow to score.
Willis and Lawrence have been my highlights for England plus the 2 great props.
I expect England to turn the screw significantly in the second half, but if they play like this against any other first tier nation they won't get away with it.
Expect England to play defensive, make Italy tackle till they are knackered then run three in in the last twenty.
