I was at that one HG. I got into most of the games 1984-1988 either with a club ticket or stewarding. There was a bar under rage stadium for stewards, bandsmen etc. Dewi the mascot was often seen there.

I’m sure some of the players would have felt at home with the aroma. It wasn’t unusual in those days for some of the pitches to have sheep grazing on them.

Seen a RWC game at the Millennium, also the Manics. OH was at that winning West Ham play-off final with SS. Only saw a weird Lancs v Yorks thing at Twickenham. OH has been to them all for 6N

Last time I was at Twickenham was the travesty of the first Premiership play-off back in 2003. I still don’t agree that a league title that’s been played for over the course of a whole season can be decided in a single match, unless there was no other way to distinguish between the teams.

That! It's almost as if they'd come up with a way to screw some more money out of the fans.

Scorching hot day, Glaws totally outplayed after being top of the table by a massive margin. Still, the Guinness was cold and I did enjoy the junior cup competition before the final.

Yep. Exactly that 15 points ahead at the end of the season and then we had such a shit day on the park. We’d just been posted to London. First rugby I’d seen since I had a ticket for the Shed back in 98/99. Not the best return.

It appears England need to find a new captain for the Calcutta cup as Courtney Lawes is out, along with Jonny Hill. It appears that Tom Curry is the most likely to be captain, but Eddie has probably got another plan up his sleeve.
Weather forecast looks torrid, so I would imagine a fairly gritty game and lots of bombs to defuse. I reckon Ollie Hassell-Collins may be in the 23 as he’s a big carrier and the backline looks short of one.
