Not a bad difference geography wise between Kent and Stratford-Upon-Avon!

Agreed, they are not exactly next-door, but I can only offer a discount on the marathon I organise and that happens to be in Kent!

TZ - just wondering, I'm v tempted to enter, but not sure how I can get to start in time. What the best public transport option from London? Or any low cost hotels nearby?

hopsien - You are in luck! Ebbsfleet International Station is a mere 5km from the venue.
Direct trains from London St Pancras to Ebbsfleet take only 18 minutes, and there are departures from St Pancras at: 06:55, 07:12, 07:42, 07:52, 08:12.
There is a Premier Inn about 1.5mi from the venue too (Singlewell).

Thanks TZ- will I be able to get a taxi from ebbsfleet/gravesend to the Cyclopark at 8am (or any Taxi companies you rec to book in advance)?
Have worked out I can get train to Gravesend from Greenwich which will only take 1hr - getting quite excited bout this as seems such an unusual challenge!

TZ - it's a very good offer! Wasn't meaning to sound ungrateful, just well urm, pointing out the obvious is my strong point I'm told
