Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

WP - good. I don't think you'd wait for an ECG.

It's likely that all is OK but best checked out.

Was supposed to be light rain for my run this morning too. It was, but they didn't mention the torrential showers, the worst one just half a mile from home and I couldn't make it as far as Aldi to shelter. But as it wasn't cold it wasn't too bad.

I think I have 40+mph winds tomorrow, rain, but very mild.

Ian - That's a good midweek distance, I take it legs have recovered from Sunday's race.

Shades good luck with the winds tomorrow, was nice to get out with warmer weather means that rain wasn’t as cold.

Ian well done on the 14 miles, always good to get some runs in the rain as can happen on race day.

WP good that it was only a blip and you’re feeling better, well done on the run, seems we are had rainy, windy but warm weather today!

Keith hope the hamstring enjoys the restful day

7 miles this evening, had a bit of wind to contend with but nice to run in warmer conditions. I did the same run 5 weeks ago and felt horrible and was 30 secs a mile slower.

Bit more weight loss 3lb lost this week, total loss in 7 weeks is 18lbs. Need to start buying new running gear soon, should be okay for some shirts but the shorts are a bit loose.

About This Thread

Maintained by Shades
Back in December 2005 I started a thread on Runner's World offering a marathon training plan on 3 runs a week. I had my own running club at the time (Womens Running Network) and I had successfully trialled the training plan when I took a group of girls to Dublin to run their first marathon.

Over the years the thread has evolved into a chat thread, with a bit of training advice, race reports, for predominantly marathon runners.
