Rcouture-That run always gets a giggle and comment.
We had some rain overnight and you'd think they'd had torrential rain, roads have lots of puddles, looking around there's nowhere for it to drain as it's not designed for rain.

Shades, I was caught in the hail storm on my run. Absolute downpour, thunder and lightening, and got a soaking. I was trying to avoid the rain, but Iโ€™m busy this afternoon, although of course the weather is decent now.

Big G - that hail was vicious and icy, bad timing but it came on so suddenly difficult to avoid.

I had good conditions for my run ๐Ÿ˜‡

WP, yeah, thatโ€™s true. It was only a short run today anyway. It was supposed to be an easy run, but it was actually pretty hard work in the wind though!

About This Thread

Maintained by Shades
Back in December 2005 I started a thread on Runner's World offering a marathon training plan on 3 runs a week. I had my own running club at the time (Womens Running Network) and I had successfully trialled the training plan when I took a group of girls to Dublin to run their first marathon.

Over the years the thread has evolved into a chat thread, with a bit of training advice, race reports, for predominantly marathon runners.
