so Lord Fetch.... Ascent measurement...
I think I'm right in saying that at the moment you don't take the garmin measurements as you think they are inaccurate, and will only calculate the ascent (using survey data) if you look at the detail view of a run and at that point you then update the run record with the ascent data. Correct?
This though makes the 'weekly run - ascent' graph unreliable as it will only show those runs where you have looked at the detail. As the old saying goes - better no data than inaccurate data. (I'm sure it's an old saying somewhere).
Now that many modern garmins use barometric altimeters to calculate ascent, not GPS data, would it be possible to either make it a personal option to import Garmin data for ascent/descent or use the device identifier in the FIT file to detect those devices which will have reliable data (910s, 920s, Fenix, Epix, etc) and automatically import it?
This is probably one of the two things that are stopping me from being able to use Fetch as my only log (the other being able to edit the GPS route data to remove/correct bad data points).

NO NO NO NO - PLEASE don't have any auto-play ads!!! They are the work of the Evil One, and I immediately shut down any page that starts talking to me.

Have done the adchoice thing I have been blissfully ad free for months but am suddenly getting lots of annoying flashing ads. I hadn't changed any settings and now can't seem to get rid of them!
