I'm sorry but I'd definitely go for a walk in a quieter part of Sutton Park if I had to self-isolate. I dread to think what my already fragile mental health would be like if I didn't get some fresh air and a change of scenery.

Maybe when you go for a walk, put a big sign saying stay away, I am joking 🙃

Thanks for the link to the official advice - bookmarked for reference.
Guess I’m not the only person to think like that

I’d have to take the dog out. QP and I were speculating that we would have to have some sort of ‘diseased’ symbol on our clothes to keep others away.

What would horse owners do, do you think? Would you be allowed to ride your horse? Go and care for it?

It advises that you 'should' stay in your home and then tells you that you cannot go for a walk. Doesnt say you cant go for a run though.

Non-runner
I can see lots of self isolators walking around after midnight avoiding crowds. Can’t see how a walk direct from your door (no buses etc) would be a problem, especially in rural areas. As the only car free household on our estate, OH and I are usually the only people on foot anyway, you would think no-one else lived here.

Fragile Do Not Bend
I could walk for hours from my front door without seeing a soul (apart from those in a car), so I will still go out for some exercise if I’m isolated but feeling well.
