Ok, just how bad is the hill in the Falkirk parkrun? I don't *do* hills or any kind of incline but it's the Marcothon finale....

Lots of people walk up HBH Duchess, I've only managed it once but I think I would have been faster walking TBH. Going tomorrow.

I haven't made it up the hill yet without walking since it started. That probably sound doesn't sound that encouraging ;-) But as Labwalker says, plenty in the same boat. And what goes up, must come down :-)

It may come down to how brave am I feeling when I get there.... whereabouts in the 5k is it? And it is only once up the hill isn't it?

Labwalkers right, it could be argued that at some point walking is just as beneficial as slow runninhg on Hbh. However there a nice wee downhill stretch once you get to the top to help you get your wind back, I love sailing down the other side of it ..

there's a steady climb between about 1 and 2 k but the steep bit is between about 3.5 and 4
