I do love it when a run is described as "character building"

Scorge, last I heard they were hoping to get Uryside underway in November, but nothing confirmed yet.

I'm contemplating sending eL Bee! to the tandem extravaganza just up the road on his solo bike and sloping off to Yarndale. Because I really, really need more artisanal knitting yarn and gadgets.

Ah what a lovely reason to not be at parkin katypie.

Congratulations to Smout and hope you all have the most fabulous day.

No parkrun tourism for me,currently fat lazy and not running.
May need to appoint Dvorak as my PT to change things.

Have fun all :-)

I did Loch Kinord around 7 years back. If the course is the same you do maybe 1km or a little longer on the road, then turn onto a roller coaster of a trail. No big climbs and fair underfoot, but a lot of up and down. Think I ran about 43 mins when I'd have been sub-39 on a flat road.

Cheers for that. Sounds a bit hilly for my liking ;-)
