It’s not just parkrunners who miss Ruchill, I venture in often during the week and it’s nearly always void of runners.
The nearby canal path and Kelvingrove is awash with runners so all a bit strange.
Pollok being the premier event doesn’t struggle for numbers and is probably hillier than Ruchill.
Probably just unfortunate timing as there as so many to chose from now in Glasgow.

You were pretty strong on the hills - though yes maybe a bit quicker on the first one- a warm up would help

Yeah I usually do a warm up but too busy yapping - paid the price although I usually walk a good bit of the first one so that's progress

I always forget that Paisley 10k isn’t actually pancake flat. I do love that race though. If it keeps getting bigger I think they’ll need to have timing markers in the start pen. There were loads of people walking way at the front. Fine if you wanna walk but it was a little bit chaotic and people were pushing each other for the first mile!! (I was stuck in the biggest loo queue so started right at the back which was fine by me)
