Oktoberfest for me this weekend I will take my running shoes, but I suspect they might stay in the case!! Double long run being done Friday morning pre work and Saturday morning pre Flight!
Good luck those racing this weekend. Hope you get the wind in the right direction for the Scottish half/10km.

Is that the one you won a few years back Boab? Or is that what is now the half that is part of the Edinburgh marathon festival? It was the Chris Hoy half when you won it, wasn't it? So fast, they didn't know you were coming and hadn't put the cones out yet at the finish funnel, if I remember?!
Enjoy Oktoberfest. Great fun in Germany at this time of year, for big beer drinkers! G

Cheers G, looking forward to Munich, haven't been before. I am hoping the lads will want to do some cultural stuff as well as drink beer!! The Chris Hoy half is no longer unfortunately, it was the same people who organised the Dunfermline half, not sure if that still happens either. The Scottish half and 10k are run by GSi events, so the same crew who organise Edinburgh Marathon. I am sure Damo2000 knows more about that outfit than any of us, I think he used to work for them.

lets hope they set the course up correctly this year as its a great fast course, but when you add 400m on to the distance it can rob a well prepared runner of a cracking PB
