Duchess was saying Rob was through KLL checkpoint in under a minute :-O

My first time I spent 45 minutes lounging on the sofa being fed tea and cakes with Duchess asking me my kids' birthdays to make sure I was compos mentis enough to continue!

Holy sh*t. I can only dream of running at that pace, never mind on that terrain!

Apparently the WHW winner missed a turn in the early stages so actually did a wee bit further than he had to! My runner is a cocky young fellow and went off with the leading two just for fun. He was dropping back from their pace when someone called him back to make the turn. The leading two took longer to put right or realise their error.

Progress when I was support running was not so swift from the bottom of the Devil's Staircase to the end!

Maybe thats where i lost time last year... it's all to easy to overstay your welcome in the checkpoints when you just want to curl up and sleep ;-)

Good to see the course record go under 14hrs.. I've got a bit of training to do before i trouble the record now :P

Amazing as always to be involved in the WHW, this time as support crew again. Really tough conditions this year 1 or 2C at Glencoe, with 50mph winds, squally showers, wet, cold and very, very hard going. So respect to everyone who started and congratulations to those who finished. Big KJTindall was my horse and he battled home for a good time, again showing enormous determination.

Brilliant atmosphere, amazing marshalling and support. And huge emotion at the prize giving. Rob Sinclair's new record is just incredible. Well done all. :-) G

Run Mhor half was 13.57 miles according to their results email. Only way they could've set up the course they said.

Surely they should advertise it as "Mhor than a half"?

If there was a Run Bheag HM some people might be surprised it was only 12 miles ;-).
