10k Westhill for me today after doing the Metro beach 10k on Tuesday. Now need to look for some other races to do

It's really one of my favourite races. The marshals are so awesome! That bloody hill at 19 miles catches me out every time though

Nairn Ten Mile road race earlier, good course, wish I'd got an empire biscuit though.

Was looking for a reasonably flat Half in August, and spotted the Nairn Highland Games Half - anyone done it, decent course and well organised ?

I have done it Gus, the course is pretty flat, not very scenic. It is my PW half as it was so hot when it did I struggled. OC might have a better opinion on it.

Just had the empire biscuit from my Roon the Toon goody bag, oh my tastiest ever!

Good course and atmosphere all the way round, done it last year as well and probably even better this year.

Also got a good quality tech tee, water, bag of gummies & twix as well as the empire. Measured 6.24 miles so fairly accurate as some of the roads really wide.

Montrose parkrun starts July 8th - and I was quite wrong about the potential course.

Still time to enter the Bannockburn 10K, this coming Sunday. Not sure if I will run (not actually entered). Good sense would suggest I didn't - but I want to :-(.

There are 31 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.
