Then you need to move the highland games nearer the hills.

Is that a 3000m?
And after that, you could get on a bike with no brakes

Any more mile action thoughts?
I was at Carluke today: 5 mile race which starts and finishes on their very bouncy artificial track. Had a look at the prices, £2.50 per person (not sure if that is per hour of for as long as you like). Bit out of the way but maybe if there was a combined Clyderunners (the new social running group of the area, featuring jiminycricket)/ Fetch event?
But not only that! As I ran a cooldown I passed someone running barefoot on the astroturf (football pitch in the middle) and he said "this is great, it's like a carpet". So I took my shoes off and tried it. And it was great So there is a possible bonus.

Unfortunately it "seems" the hunger for central Fetch mile has gone somewhat in last couple years
Go on folks prove me wrong now and lets get a huge take up on a summer mile!
