DocM 21 Sep 6:55am, 21 Sep 2024 49,899 posts	0 DocM I'm crossing the border in a couple of weeks time. I'll be doing the great Scottish run plus a Glasgow park run, probably Elderpark as I'll be on sons couch nearby. Just wondered if anyone would be around to say hi.

Dvorak 21 Sep 8:19am, 21 Sep 2024 28,093 posts	0 Dvorak I'm wondering about the Great Scottish Run - but the 10K, which I've never done, despite running the Half several times. Entries staying open late (even on the day?) this year. Gives me a chance to see if I'm still mobile after the Kelpies Half the morra. And the week after Glasgow is the Strathcarron 10K in Denny. Finally, they've changed the date so it doesn't clash with Glasgow, so hopefully they'll get half-decent numbers this year.

And saves me deciding whether or not to run it Looking up the Neil McCover, last year's event ended up being held in February this year (alongside the 12.5K iirc and hence on a different course.). I wonder if the Kirkies Olympians have decided that worked better?
