Some of the crap you hear from people on facebook whenever a cycle lane or cyclist is mentioned it is hardly surprising and the fact the driver didnt stop is even more shocking. I am sure we have all been the victim of somebody driving to close to us either as they think it is funny, to teach us a lesson or they are pissed off that they were delayed for 5 seconds. I always make a point of giving drivers a thumbs up if they are considerate.

The language used against cyclists by non cyclists can be terrible too. I’ve had the displeasure of being hit by a car on Arran, bouncing off the bonnet & onto the windscreen, it was bloody terrifying.
