Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Stopped in at Aonach Mor thinking I’d go for coffee and a cake last week on the way North. Maximum of 15 minutes then £4.50 to park.

I wonder how that will effect Parkrun? The locals do get a scheme where they get to park once a week for free, but it’s apparently a laborious process.

Or lots of people targeting sub 15 min parkruns Ally? ;-) That wouldn't be terribly inclusive though. That's a packet, isn't it?

The wifie in the cafe said you can park for free & still buy something, queuing & paying disnae give you much time😀

A lot of locals use the place more than weekly too. I wouldn’t mind paying if away for a good bit cycling or whatever but £4.50 isnae cheap.

It'll encourage people from FW to walk or cycle - only 7 miles each way. Which must make it the run furthest from where it's named for.

I bet it does encourage car-sharing, though.
