I do tend to wait a week and do the Neil Mcover HM on the following sunday (has been the same day a few years back). The whole corporate feel of GSR doesn't sit particularly well with me and I much prefer supporting kirkie olympians and their local, club run race.

The real disappointing thing is that after such an error all they offer is 10% off next years event, which you tend to get by entering early bird anyway. In the month before it I ran both Stirling and Linlithgow 10ks which hands down beat the GSR in all areas.
