That's kind both of you, thank you. Running fairly consistently just now which is all you can ask for. GSR 10k on Sunday to finish off my road season then it's XC time....

Brilliant day at the Great Scottish Run 10k. The weather was kind and everyone seemed pleased to be there. Great to have this event back. SB too…

I tried to keep up with her but she lost me on the first corner. I’ll be ready for her next year…😂😉

Well done Jumpinglilac. Hope to read some more race reports from today's runners.

Strathcarron 10K: I went out to clap the runners past, a bit past the first km. Leader was 54s ahead at that point. Leading woman clear in third, and a wee boy in tenth. Looked like fewer than 200 participants. Maybe they need to move it to not coincide with the GSR. (Originally it didn't as GSR was the start of September.)

GSR 10k, I got one of the lucky yellow and white stripey numbers so I got to start just two rows behind Eilish. That was exciting except I couldn't lock onto a GPS signal for some reason. Highlights for me were the choir at the top of the hill singing "Super Trouper" which made me smile and the good honest M50 racing between a wee group of us which pulled me onto a big PB, brilliant fun. Nice medal, great atmosphere, got to catch up with a lot of people, perfect morning.

I’m presuming you’ve had a few battles with Paul M from GHH? I know him from elsewhere.
