Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

@Dvorak - this is the Moray Rivera we're talking about here, 20 degC is nothing :-)

(Although you do start up in the wilderness so you could easily have a foot of snow in November...)

I might have to turn up on the 14th Nov Gus! Though a second tilt at Speyside also appeals.

Still hope to come to Killin on the original date for my annual reunion. Hillwalking and extra Friday drinking will be a suitable substitute for running.

Baz, if I recall I think it was high £20s if not low £30s for Alloa.

I’ve gone for option 1 for Alloa as it’s probably the best one for the race organisers since they have paid most of their costs already. Can fully understand people looking at other options though. I’ve noticed quite a few people asking about signing up now for the virtual. Hopefully this helps counter anyone taking a full refund and allows the organisers to get the t shirts and medals used up.

I get what Alloa are trying to do, but would you really want a medal for a run you didn't do? Not that I'm fussed either way about tees, but at least you could use that.

Some of us bought buffs and tshirts from 2020 West Highland Way Race. Partly to support event. :-) G

The alloa T-shirt’s are usually good quality so I wouldn’t mind one of those. It’s a shame option one doesn’t come with a guaranteed place for next year albeit that you pay for as that would be best all round.

Option 2 and 4 non starters For me. Just need to decide between 1 and 3

That's what I meant G (but maybe didn't put i across properly).

I'd be happy to take a T and a partial refund to support an event that I liked. I just thought the inclusion of a medal seemed a bit strange.

I signed up for the Dramathon in October, no word yet regarding if it’s going ahead, it sells out quickly. A lot of folk come from abroad to do it, it’s on Speyside way.
