Gogsy!
Has anyone else noticed in these crazy times that other runners are more likely to wave/nod a greeting in the passing? I saw 8 other runners this morning & every one of them nodded/waved/'hello'd' as they passed. There's usually at least one grump or someone else 'playing safe with the grinning weirdo'. A siege mentality, perhaps, or was it 'just a sunny morning'?

Spring, siege mentality, "we've worked out how to stay sane in these stressful times", "isn't it great to get out of the house for a bit"
To be honest round here we've always been a friendly bunch, I'm not sure I would notice any difference.

I very rarely don’t get any acknowledgment from passing runners, more friendly in a rural environment I think.

Most runners say hi, smile or try to wave (if they are doing speed work)

I always get a wave from runners around town. I work in Leeds a couple of days a week where the opposite is the case.

I'd probably get an acknowledgement if I ever saw another runner. Dog walkers are not that friendly but passing cyclists usually wave or shout something friendly.
