We are in edinburgh this weekend for the rugby. We will have the car (unusual!) and have done crammond and portobello so would like to try somewhere new

Thinking Oriam (I do need an o for my alphabet!) but any votes for anywhere else? I’m still broken so will be walking (hobbling) so nowhere with too speedy a field...

Livi tends to have more at the back than, I think, any other Scottish parkrun. It's quite nice along the river. Plus just next to Designer Village ie outlet mall which has NB, Nike and Adidas. And some other things, apparently. Lindor pick and mix choc

Hm. Tempting. But I already have an L and we wouldn’t have time for shopping as we need to be back in edinburgh for lunch

M_N - Oriam isn't a big field but there are usually at least a couple of walkers at the back, and the usual tail walker takes the opportunity to walk his two wee dogs :-)

Come over the water to Dunfermline - lovely park, big hill x 3 but no problem about time at back.

Vogrie, just on south side of Edinburgh is also a lovely park. Beautiful trail route. Good café. Again, I'm sure they wouldn't care how far back.

Do any parkruns mind about how far back you are? As tail walker, marshal, scanner or any other role I've never heard anyone complain. We give our last folk a big cheer usually. :-) G

Elgin's 200th parkrun tomorrow - may have mentioned it before :-P

Also am just about to launch entries for Forres Harriers Benromach 10k - will probably go live tonight just after wine o'clock just so the FB pages get lots of hits!

Ooh, what date is it OC? 10th May? I won't be away this year, as the girls' karate competition has been moved to April, so I may just have to pay you a wee visit :)
