57.5 Degrees of Sprouts...
I hope the wind relents for you tommorow duo! I'm off to the rather more sheltered Elgin 200th.

Well done Maz That's a fair trip!
Finally made it to Queen's. That's a tough run! There laps of hilliness. But unlike Drumchapel, I might even want to go back.
Tea and coffee, and cake, for a quid in the Baptist church afterwards. Someone came round an extra three times to give us more (Strathbungo must be rife with baptists - there are two large Baptist churches aboot 100m apart. With another three churches in between them.)

57.5 Degrees of Pain
I plan Queens Park for next week. Running at Kirkie Sunday which gives me a chance to try out the parkrun hills at a moderate pace.

I'm at Queen's Park next Sunday for the last S x 5 - hopefully the wind has died down by then.

Son of a Pronator Man
So, Devilla went ahead today, after something of a blaze of FB last night when the decision to proceed was announced. The 15k course was altered to remove the highest and most exposed section and runners competed the lower part of the 15k course and all of the the 5k course to make up the (slightly shortened) distance. The weather during the race was good, a it windy but nothing that would have justified a cancellation and as I was marshalling there was nothing coming down from the trees that was in any way a danger. So the correct decision was made .

57.5 Degrees of Pain
You know you're in Scotland when:
The final race instructions arrive (Kirkie 12.5) and finish "we are not expecting any adverse weather for the weekend". While the Met Office app promises cold, rain and 50moh gusts!
