I don't much care what anyone calls them, although where I come from you'd never be invited back if you said "Scoan" or "Skeauwn" like you thought you were the Queen. Provided they're not like hockey pucks and don't have anything stupid like leeks or chilli or Smarties in them, I'll eat them
