LMH.. sorry to see the test run wasn't too successful. My usual rule is to wait until I can't feel the niggle any more, wait 3-4 days then try again. Better luck next time.
TT.. great to see you hit some decent paces in that 4m. Raynauds.. it's usually my RH longest 2 fingers that swell first then onto the LH if cold weather persists.
TR.. sounds like you have got chilly mornings there ATM. Good that you got through your run safe and stayed upright.
Temps 6-7 degrees this morning and light winds so an enjoyable 12.3m cranked out.

Hope the leg is ok after your run TR. Hope the physio goes well.
Long run day today 15 miles with quite a few hills.

I trust my physio and couldn't feel the hamstring before the run.
Cold here too - with a frost yesterday and this morning - at least I don't need to motivate myself out in it beyond getting to the gym.

Hope the physio went well TR, do you feel its improving? Nice effort Wardi and Riggys, getting those big mid week runs in. I'm hoping for 10 this morning after a mediocre mile race last night- 5:47. Off to Keswick today including parkrun Saturday. Still nursing the knee.
Enjoy the gym LMH- at least you'll stay warm.

Sorry to hear you are disappointed with the race OO61. How is your knee? Gym was definitely warmer than outside and my house!

TT - That's not a shabby run. Look forward to seeing more of these. Must have been great running with Tom Evans, a while back. I am a fan. LMH - That's a bit of a blow. Hope you have a trouble free soon soonest.
Riggsy - Nice 15m. Very decent.
Wardi - Barmy conditions. Nice 12m. OO61 - 5.47 mile still not too shabby. Enjoy Keswick, should be stunning in this weather.
A nice run in the sun on Tuesday and a swift 8m with the running club last night, over 1000 ft of climbing, they like the hills! Rest dat today so a good 15m cycle with my mate. Entered a new marathon Elche-Alicante, end of Nov, so aiming for the Alicante- Malaga double.

Thanks for the good wishes, we won't be any wiser as to prognosis until a biopsy has been done which will be a couple of weeks.
Riggsy, sorry to hear of the stomach issues. Hipefully it is all resolved now. Seems to be with a decent 15m done.
Ouchouch, going well and more exciting race plans!
oo, that knee is is a right menace! Hope the parkrun goes well on saturday.
wardi, yes great conditions yesterday, well done in the 12. Decent conditions today also, once it warmed up.
LMH, sorry to hear the run didnt work out. Hopefully a few more days and you'll be good.
TT, that's a huge step forwards with that run. I guess fear and confidence have been limiting how far you push things so far. Hopefully that'll be a decent platform to build from.
TR, any decent news from physio or after affects from yesterdays run?
Gerard, thankfully (in these circumstances) I am travelling alone to Tokyo. We will need to think carefully however about any other holiday plans later in the year once we know what we are dealing with. I think for me personally, if it turns out how I anticipate, any race plans after london will need to be tentative until last minute if they aren't local.
I hope the birthday celebrations went well, despite the glutal boil! Have a great day tomorrow as well (assume there'll be some kind of celebration afterwards?)
Jools, that's some pretty decent running there. Before you know it strides will transgress into a few blocks at mara pace then it'll be threshold and you'll be sucked back in!
Since Monday i've cracked on with the schedule so 13m easy Tuesday and spin and 7.5m easy today. Yesrerday was my first go at the 'paula radcliffe session' so 3 x 4, 3, 2 mins off 4,3,2 mins at mara pace with a 2 min walk between sets. Was quite tiring to be fair, more so than I anticipated. Came out 6.16mm for 9.25m and just over 13 for the day with wu and cd.
A low key hill focused fartlek session tomorrow before 24m easy on Sunday. It'll be my longest ever training run.

Riggsy - 15 midweek is great stuff, mararhon gold.
OO61 - not sure i remember anyone winning the Golden mile a few days after a 22 miler, with a knee issue. I'm not really sure why you asked the question by racing it.
Ouch - running in the sun sounds good.
DT - big session, obviously very fit at the mo.
I was a bit freer yday running, with less tightness during and after. Bike reps earlier, next run tomorrow. If that goes ok I Will try to run Saturday which will give me 4 runs for the week. Fitness has dropped, HR is too high for the easy effort .
