Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

HigherState, relatively cheap but by far the best I have worn. I have tried other more expensive brands like 1000 miles (sorry but hate them) but never buy anything else now. Never have blisters with them, comfy, absorbent and last for ages, in fact the first ones I bought well over 5 years ago are still in use.

Thanks for replies, Little Miss Happy I agree the newer Inov8 don't seem as good as the old ones.

Looking at staying with merino/wool as I like the slight padding that they give and I never seem to get blisters using them.

I tried 1000 mile and got a blister on the side of my little toe so stopped using them. Like my Comprssport but not even, they have any in stock the size I want.

I guess it's just going to be a bit of trial and error.

I love twin skins... But you are right, what works for one person may not work for another ;-)

I've used a mix of MoreMile ones from StartFitness, Aldi special offer ones, Costco bargain multipacks (usually Puma or Adidas) and noticed no difference between any of them - I wear out the big toe, but never blister in rain, shine or otherwise.

As well as the Karrimor ones, you used to get anti-blister Nike twin packs in Sports Direct, which I found to be great. Also like the 1000 miles ones. I wear the trail ones - for no real reason other than they're comfy. Latest batch, though, haven't lasted too long - but they're not too expensive either.

I like Merino wool ones, very good at temp control and dry out quickly. I had some icebreakers which have worn out a bit now and just got some more merino ones from Runderwear (who do the best pants)
