Can you use your collected numbers more than once in your guess?

I will have enough numbers for a guess today and by luck my planned route for today which is chosen partly as its a flattish route for tempo and also good for WSW, will pick up the key number I need to have a guess in the right range

No. If you wanted to guess 55 you’d need to have collected two separate fives

Rosehip don’t forget you can easily move your location now, so you might be able to put some markers where they’ll align with your route…

following an incorrect guess, do correct digits in the wrong position and correct digits in the right position appear in a different colour?

Dochart- all you get is a too high or too low, no other clues.

If previous info is to be believed it starts with a 7 - which happens to be on a golf course for me today.

in which case, knowing my previous guesses containing digits 2,5,6,7 is of no practical value. I can confirm that repeatedly switching watch on, walking 10 meters, and switching watch off in a zone does gain duplicate digits. not sure it's in the spirit of the game though

About This Thread

Maintained by fetcheveryone
Sign up, and you'll see your local map, with ten black markers - each one containing a digit. Collect these on your runs, rides, walks (and swims if you're lucky). It's GPS only, sorry. When you have enough digits, try and guess the secret number, which is anywhere between 1 and 1,000,000. If your guess is wrong, Rundle will tell you whether you are too high or too low.

All Fetchies are chasing the same number. You can choose to share your intel from your guesses - or (moral dilemma) you can try to throw everyone else off the scent.

If you're the person who guesses the right number, you get a snazzy new badge. The secret number will then reset, and the game begins again.
