I agree Lip Gloss, GymBoss isn't THAT loud! And besides that, today, after using my GymBoss for years I discovered there were two volume levels!! One is very quiet indeed.
4x4 minutes with 2 minutes rest sounds a great effort Pam runs.
5k run/walk today with 45 second runs. Expecting to increase to 60 seconds (again!!) on Saturday.

Had to Google Gymboss - looks like a pager, right? I use an app on my phone called Tabata and it doesn't beep too much.

Looks like a pager, clips very firmly to waist band of shorts or track bottoms. There is also a separate item which enables it to be worn like a watch; we have that but never used it!
Some people seem comfortable using phones or watches, we find gym boss much more handy , audible and easily re adjusted.

Pam runs
Parkrun 29.43min slower than last week as it seemed really busy at the start. Still enjoyable run and the just walk voice was silent. . 😁

I managed to run all of parkrun yesterday too. Super happy with that although it’s made me chesty again today.

Was that your own timing or the official one Pam runs? A busy start would add that minute. Good run whatever.
Flippin good Lip Gloss. Hope the tight chest/ chestiness disappeared later on.
Upped the running periods to a whole minute (again!) for the duration of 3.2 miles which was pretty much ok. Just need to consolidate and increase slowly (again!!) now .

I’ve ‘jeffed’ most of this week’s runs :
Tuesday club run was a decent run/walk with my friend. Wednesday I led the C25k jeffing group. Thursday we did a really easy paced 5k Halloween run in fancy dress.
Yesterday I was determined to run all of parkrun, but I felt really tired and still haven’t shaken off the lurgy so I got to 2 miles and had a little walk - shouldn’t have done that. Another 1/4 mile run and another walk then jeffed the last 1/2 mile 60:30. Ironically mile 3 was my fastest mile!

Did a really steady chatty 10K 30:30 with friends this morning along the canal.

Fenners-Reborn
Had a brain malfunction at the start of yesterdays marathon and forgot to select interval mode 3.5/1.5. So I made my 'jeffing' up on the spot and went for walk 1 minute every km until my legs were too fatigued. Worked really well. I'd do that again.

Sounds quite a pleasant running/ jeffing week lin50.
That's a good marathon outcome Fenners and a jeffing experiment that obviously worked. Great stuff.
