They're doing better, but the pesky Argies are playing really well. And the ABs keep fumbling the ball forward.

Argentina have come on a lot since joining the rugby championship. Impressed.
The Ireland-France group winner will not have a bye into the semi.
Angus - tidy start by your lot. Unbeaten, and above the Boks in the table....;-)

Argentina go up in my estimation, again. But the inevitability of the nb's ability to play for the 80 showed out. Had they played their Bath player.....

Looking back at Japan yesterday I noted an odd tactic at scrum time. The bloke between the two props sort of hooked the ball back with his foot. As a result the ball emerged at the back of tge scrum almost immediately. This meant it could be used, before any disruption/collapses/wheels etc.
Wonder if it will catch on.....

TRO.
I've just watched the highlights, loving the 12 man driving maul. Japan's tries were excellent. The Scots are in trouble I think.

In boxing they say 'don't hook with a hooker, or you'll get hooked...'

Really enjoyed the game at Brighton today. nice ground , great seats, sunshine and a good flowing game of rugby with some crunching hits. Not quite Japan v SA, but a cracking RWC game. Definitely worth the time and travel even if £60 a ticket was quite steep.
