Don't think so. They have to have specialist front row for scrum and can sub them on for the scum. 13 man Roumania- did the ref give them some advice and instructions to cut out the head height tackles?

Romania, like Georgia played with masses of heart but it was all against them.
I love they Scotland looked disappointed with the score.
So, Irelands best retire after this comp, Scotland for the 6N?

Poor decision at the end by Scotland not to take the lineout and try, that points difference was all they could keep achieving at that point. G

in football, i think the minimum number of players on a pitch has to be 8. is there a similar rule in rugby?
I seem to remember having this discussion a while ago (though it may have been elsewhere) The only official minimum requirement is to have five players in the scrum, so technically the minimum number of players would be six, though I imagine the game would be abandoned long before that. The referee has the discretion to abandon at any time if they consider it would be dangerous to continue.
