Even if Scotland wouldn't reach the final (no one would have been expecting) they deserved the chance to get as far as their ranking suggests they should. England would have no chance in their group.

Yup, just been looking at the combinations and Fiji I think could still lose one game and still go through on the head-to-head with Australia. And I don't see them losing to Georgia or Portugal.

I accept all that's been said, all fair points, but every WC someone gets a shit pool. Pool of death/doom is a cliche right? Top level sport is incredibly cruel and athletes or teams deal with it. |

I think Fiji are technically lucky. They've improved and Wales have declined to the 5-8 range instead of the 4 rank they had when the draw was done.
