It's a great place to visit any time of year. In the summer there are good trekking and running holidays to be had.

That was a tough run. Taking this pic was nothing more than an excuse to stop. I remember vividly the moment that I thought “this is a gorgeous day, the scenery is stunning, and I am not going to make it to the end of this trail”.

What a glorious picture today Dochart. Looks like a landscape painting with all the moods and light effects.

Also very interesting was looking at the route and seeing weird place names. Failand and Barrow Gurney to name but two.
