Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thanks for the Norway pics Steve, always interesting to see different countries and their building styles.

Thanks. There's a bit of an oddity in that the pictures' titles won't accept letters æøå, but they are ok in posts, so I had to transliterate.

I can't believe there was really 62m of ascent in it ...
I do like the step nature of the elevation tracking, although I put the 2m readings down to Garmin error.

And for info Steve, we only real found out on this run that the Lymington Marina car park is far easier & quicker access (for us) than the Pennington free car park or the longer drive to Keyhaven.

I only run these routes when I’m in Lymington marina or on the Dan Bran pontoon. The 62m ascent is certainly a surprise. If you’ve not already been there and your run or walk could ever accommodate a stop at “The Chequers Inn” I reckon it would be time well spent👍

Thanks Dio! Pegg's from the following day is equally good - which is not surprising because it's looking back across Ullswater roughly towards where mine was taken from. The angles aren't quite right for either of them to show where the other was taken from, but not far off.

Sorry, "equally good" has an arrogant tone I didn't mean to put in there.
