Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It's a shame that they're not going to be full size any more but I understand the need for the new layout.

I agree, actually, especially now I've read Fetch's blog and looked more closely at the page beyond my initial 'where'd the RPAD go?'

Offa'so Dyke. Long before I was a runner, I pushed our now 31 year old son up (!) there in his buggy! The buggy was never the same again.

Lovely place.

I'll have to read the blog as I'm joining the disappointed crew. I did click on today's but suspect I often won't. I was pleased to see it's the part of Offa's Dyke I know near where my dad grew up.

The click trough looks great. I think I shall make more of a point of clicking through (a) to see the whole picures (b) to see the route map. Would be nice to have a link to whatever is the current ROTD for bookmarking?

That is a lovely picture, and I am glad to have the map on the same page as the photo.

However, today I am confused because the route is portrait and the photo landscape.

It's a tree by someone's garden gate - they have a Gnome House and toadstools etc at the bottom, and this fantastic face halfway up.

The whole thing looks like this
