Agree with Cheg - it was wonderful to see Jess and KJT chatting. Both genuinely relaxed. And although Jess will be disappointed there was no air of dejection about her. And it was great to hear her describe Nafi Thiam as 'a lovely girl' - she appreciated Thiam's wonderful achievement, she's nor handing her crown over to some suspect Amazonian beefcake (there've been one or two Heppie's in the past).

Morning everyone
So while it wasn't quite Super Saturday the fact that all 3 of the athletes from 2012 got medals was fantastic. Plus one more silver in the pool and the dominance of the cyclists and rowers made it a wonderful day.
Thiam had a fantastic competition, totally deserved the gold.
Not sure if it was Rupp' s fault that Mo fell but he seemed to go back and help him get back into the race so no hard feelings.
On the topic of funny names there was a swimmer called Slowing, she didn't qualify
