there is a fire at one of the overnigth CPs. They also have tents and matts so you can take a nap...

Too Much Water
it is much more open and exposed after Goring, so a wind-proof jacket is the way to go, a hat if it works for you

There was one checkpoint which was also doing Hot Dogs to order last year during the second half...put a smile on lots of people's faces!
Good luck to all of you doing this...hope it stops raining so that the course has a chance to dry out!

really sorry to hear that Jen
Any major reason, or just not in shape for it?

Not in any kind of decent shape, and I'm having foot problems which means that I'd almost certainly be starting SDWR with bad blisters if I ran Ridgeway.
I need as much help as I can get to finish SDWR, so I'm writing off this year's race target.

Just a final check...
Does anyone know of anyone who'll be driving back to the start after the race with space for 2 weary runners? At the moment it's looking like a 5 hr 5 stage train and bus journey to get back to the car before driving home. Can't see this being much fun!
