Not doing complicated cooking that generates a lot of pots that need heavy duty cleaning in the first place, and only washing up when we've generated a sinkful, which isn't every day.
Generous use of elbow grease.
Reusable rather than single-use cleaning cloths and scrubbers, including hand knitted cotton dishcloths which can be thrown in the washing machine. I use them till they fall apart.
I do still use washing up liquid in plastic bottles. I expect the product manufacturers to provide a solution to that issue.

I keep missing the cut-off. I put plates over bowls of food in the fridge. I don't think I've ever bought cling film. I have some of the waxed material for wrapping bread - someone asked me to trial it.

I buy biodegradable scrubbers. They can be put on the compost but last for ages. But we have loads of washing up and I do rely on my dishwasher. Looking for recommendations for plastic free dishwasher tabs.

For sandwiches I wrap in greaseproof paper and secure with laccy band.

Dishwashing - I use a wooden brush with replaceable heads. It's made from wood, metal and natural bristle. I use old socks as dishcloths and chuck them in the washing machine. Steel wool for problem stuck-on bits.

I've got a refillable bottle for washing-up liquid (Bio D).

I’ve been researching dishwasher tablets. Eco leaf do some which I’m going to try. Will report back.

Last July I tried making my own dishwasher powder but it didn’t work any better than hot water.
