I use beeswax wraps for leftovers and also to wrap packed lunches etc. I do have a roll of cling film, but I can't remember the last time I used any

I've filed cling film replacements under "extra products I don't need marketed with environmental credentials that may be misleading". I use reusable boxes for storage, reclaimed thin plastic bags from supermarket shopping, and occasionally a bit of ordinary cling film for things that aren't suitable for storing in a box. It takes me several years to use up a roll. I don't actively avoid buying food wrapped in cling film.

Yes we use those! They're also really useful for when the girls have to take multiple separate ingredients to school for cooking.

I've been researching non plastic make up products, does anyone have any recommendations for brands which they use?

I don't wear makeup, but there's groups on FB for that sort of thing.

As for cling film, I still use it, but very rarely. I use takeaway containers & glass jars for most things, or, in the microwave, cover with another plate.

I don't wear makeup often either, I have a lippy in a mainly metal tube and may occasionally wear mascara - not sure if getting my lashes dyed (they're going grey) would be less polluting overall than mascara in a tube?

Cover with a side plate for fridge storage is what we did before clingfilm - I have a huge catering roll that was surplus to requirements at work about 3 years ago - reckon it'll last me at least another 3 yrs.

One of the guys at work has a brilliant (plastic/Tupperware) sandwich box that just fits a made sandwich - any idea where to get one? he can't remember where it came from- thinks it was a freebie from somewhere - beeswax wraps are great as long as you haven't stuffed your lunch in the corner of an overfull rucksack...
